First year Lancer Jeremy Driedger has been named Lancer Athlete of the Week after his performance against the Canadore Panthers.
With 3 aces, 2 kills and a block, the 5’11 first year setter added 6 points to his team’s 3-1 loss against the Panthers.
Matching up against a much bigger opponent, Driedger held his own in the front row by putting up a solid block that consistently slowed down the Panther’s left side attacker. With speed and good footwork, Driedger worked hard to get to chase down the ball and keep the offense alive. He now sits in the top 10 in the OCAA for total assists with 451.
