Scholarship Program

Every varsity athlete at Loyalist College is eligible to recieve a scholarship. Our athletes are leaders, role models, and competitors who give their all on and off the field. Scholarship recipients demonstrate excellence in three key areas:

Academic Excellence

To qualify and remain eligible, student‑athletes must:

  • Be enrolled full-time at Loyalist College
  • Maintain a minimum 75% average with no failures
  • Meet all academic requirements of their specific program
  • Communicate with coaching staff if academic status changes

Success begins in the classroom, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.

Athletic Commitment

Lancers train with purpose and compete with pride. Scholarship athletes:

  • Attend 95% of team practices, competitions, strength sessions, and team events
  • Receive approval in writing for any absence from the Head Coach or Director of Athletics
  • Maintain high-level fitness year-round
  • Complete all required fitness testing and training programs

Character & Conduct

Lancers lead by example. Scholarship athletes uphold:

  • All varsity and athletic department rules
  • Loyalist College student conduct and residence policies
  • OCAA, CCAA, and Safe Sport standards
  • A strict commitment to a drug‑free lifestyle under CCES policy
