The Lancers suffered a tough loss to the Nationally ranked George Brown Huskies Friday night in Belleville.
The visiting Huskies took control of the game right from the start and never gave up their hold through to the last buzzer.
With struggles at both ends of the court, the Lancers couldn't get their offense going and only scored 9 points in the first quarter. They were outscored in each quarter of the game, only managing to pick things up in the second. The Lancers worked hard but were outmatched by the Huskies and fell 92-45.
Angelo Sarsonass continued his run as leading scorer on the Lancer squad with 13 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists while Akim Ruot contributed 6 points and 9 boards.
The Lancers look to get back in the win column when they travel to the Nation's capital on Saturday February 9th to face the Algonquin Thunder.
