The Lancers earned redemption over the Seneca Sting Friday night in front of a packed home crowd.
After losing to the Sting first semester, the Lancers evened things out with a 101-88 win to improve to 11-2 on the season.
Jeremiah Brown was nearly unstoppable in the paint, going 13-19 from the field and contributing a career high 32 points and 8 rebounds.
As the Sting started to close in mid game, Akim Ruot came up clutch for the Lancers with a pair of big plays that brought the game back into the Lancers hands. Rout slammed home a huge dunk off a long pass from mid court, followed by a monster block to stop a drive to the bucket from the Sting.
Brendan McCartie was electric from the three point line, sinking 9 buckets for a career high 27 point performance.
The Lancers hit the road Friday January 31st when they take on the 7-5 Centennial Colts.
