The Lancers lost a tough battle against the Seneca Sting in Toronto on Friday night.
After falling behind in the first half, the Lancers started the third quarter strong and outscored the Sting 18-14 to bring the game within 7. Mid way through the fourth quarter, Jalen Carter Julien closed the gap to two with less than 6 minutes to go before the Sting went on an 11-0 run. With momentum on their side, the home team pushed to a 72-56 final decision and handed the Lancers their third loss of the season.
Second year Lancer Phil Da Silva was the game high scorer with 18 points and 7 rebounds while Julien contributed 13 points, 7 boards and 2 blocks.
The Lancers look to make a quick turnaround when they face the Georgian Grizzlies in part 2 of their weekend roadtrip in Barrie on Satuday at 3 PM.
