Lancers Take Down Sting in Second Straight Road Victory

The Loyalist Lancers men's basketball team secured a hard-fought 76-69 victory over the Seneca Sting at Seneca's King Campus, improving their season record to 2-1.

The game was closely contested throughout, with both teams displaying strong defensive efforts and making clutch plays. The Lancers built their lead gradually, leading by three points after the first quarter and steadily increasing the margin with consistent scoring in each period. Lancer veteran Jayden Jack turned in a standout performance with 26 points, going 6-7 from the foul line and 9-17 from the field, while first-year Lancer Tristan Wright added 12 points and 2 rebounds. Loyalist's bench provided a crucial boost, outscoring Seneca's reserves 28-15.

Seneca, despite a strong home effort, struggled to match the Lancers' scoring consistency, particularly in the paint. Despite a late push from the home team, Loyalist's defensive resilience and clutch free-throw shooting down the stretch helped hold onto the win.

The Lancers' are back at home on Saturday, November 2nd when they host the George Brown Huskies.
