Lancers Drop Tough Battle to Centennial Colts

The Loyalist Lancers men's basketball team put up a good fight but fell 97-84 to the Centennial Colts at home on Saturday. Despite a strong start, trailing by only one point at halftime, the Colts' third-quarter surge proved decisive.

Jayden Jack led the Lancers with 25 points and 5 assists, while Jevoni Torres added 16 points and 4 rebounds. Tristan Wright contributed a near double-double with 12 points and 9 rebounds. Loyalist dominated second-chance points 14-4, but Centennial's efficient shooting, including 55.1% from the field and 57.9% from three, sealed the win.

The Lancers will look to rebound in their next matchup when they hit the road to take on the Georgian Grizzlies Friday, November 29th.
