Lancers fall in hard fought battle with the Grizzlies

The Loyalist Lancers showed tremendous effort in a hard-fought 3-1 loss to the Georgian Grizzlies. The match was a showcase in resilience.  The Grizzlies led the game 2-0 (25-20, 25-20) before the Lancers came charging back with a big 25-15 victory that stunned the Grizzlies. The fourth set was an epic battle that ended in a 28-26 decision in favor of Georgian, earning them a 3-1 victory. 

Recent addition to the roster, Liam Callahan, led the charge for the Lancers with 14 kills on 28 attacks, accompanied by 2 aces. Liam Hill also contributed significantly with 9 kills, 1 ace, and an impressive 6 blocks. Sam Growden anchored the back row with consistent defense and strong serve receive, providing stability throughout the match.

Despite the outcome, the Lancers demonstrated grit and teamwork, challenging the Grizzlies's strong offense and showing promise for the rest of the season.
