KNAP JOINS LANCERS
Head Coach Caleb Hugh and the Loyalist Lancers are pleased to welcome Katelyn Knap to the Women's Basketball program.
The 6'0" power forward/center from Russell, ON, who has played competitively for the PRBC Rockets for the past five seasons, is coming to Loyalist College for the Registered Practical Nursing program. "Beyond having a top-rated nursing program, the small size of the college allows for a more personable learning experience; when I visited, it felt like home," said Knap.
Coach Hugh sees Knap making a major impact on the team from day one. "Katelyn's height and coordination plus her ability to rebound the ball and protect the paint will make her an immediate part of our forward rotation. She's got a great attitude, positive energy and a willingness to learn. She's a terrific addition to our team."
Throughout the summer, Women's Basketball will be hosting training camps, in preparation for the upcoming 2022/23 season; anyone interested in taking part should complete the Prospective Athlete Form to get connected with the coaching staff.
