Lancers Welcome Midfielder Hailey Pikaart to Women’s Soccer Program

The Loyalist Lancers women's soccer team is excited to announce the commitment of Hailey Pikaart, a talented midfielder from Brighton, Ontario, who will join the program beginning this coming season.

 

Pikaart brings strong experience and versatility to the Lancers midfield, standing 5'7 and offering a competitive, high‑work‑rate style of play. A year‑round soccer player since the age of three, Hailey has developed into a driven and dedicated athlete who trains hard and thrives in competitive environments. Her experience includes competing at OFSAA in Grade 11 and playing with Athletico Kingston U21 Regional, where she continued to challenge herself against high‑level opponents.

 

One of Hailey's favourite highlights came during the 2024–2025 Provincial Indoor Soccer League, an experience she values for its consistently competitive matches and unique venues. The fast pace and demanding level of play helped sharpen her technical abilities, decision‑making, and confidence on the ball.

 

Head Coach Tom Moran is excited about the addition of Hailey to the growing Lancers roster. "Hailey brings a high soccer IQ to the team," Moran said. "Having coached her in the Academy and watched her technical and tactical development over the years, I know the passion and leadership she brings will align perfectly with what we are building within the program."

 

Hailey will be entering Loyalist's Bachelor of Science – Nursing program, and her academic goals played a key role in her commitment. After visiting campus and learning more about the program and facilities, she was drawn to the opportunity for early hands‑on clinical experience, something she felt set Loyalist apart.

 

The women's soccer program is thrilled to welcome Hailey to the team and looks forward to the energy, commitment, and competitive mindset she will bring to the midfield.
