The Loyalist Lancers women's volleyball team secured an exciting five-set victory over the Georgian Grizzlies in a hard-fought match. After taking the first set 25-18, the Lancers dropped the next two sets (25-20, 25-22) before rallying back with dominant performances in the fourth (25-13) and fifth (15-5) sets to claim the win.
Sydney Crawford led the charge with a stellar performance, recording 15 kills, 2 aces, and 2 blocks. Amber Verbruggen was a force from the service line, delivering 6 aces to go along with her 6 kills and a block. Setter Georgi Williams was instrumental in the Lancers' defense, notching 5 blocks, an ace, and 3 kills to contribute to the team's success. Chloe Pallister brought a spark off the bench with tremendous blocking that helped push the team to victory in the fourth and fifth sets.
