Lancers earn 5 set victory over Grizzlies

The Loyalist Lancers women's volleyball team secured an exciting five-set victory over the Georgian Grizzlies in a hard-fought match. After taking the first set 25-18, the Lancers dropped the next two sets (25-20, 25-22) before rallying back with dominant performances in the fourth (25-13) and fifth (15-5) sets to claim the win.

Sydney Crawford led the charge with a stellar performance, recording 15 kills, 2 aces, and 2 blocks. Amber Verbruggen was a force from the service line, delivering 6 aces to go along with her 6 kills and a block. Setter Georgi Williams was instrumental in the Lancers' defense, notching 5 blocks, an ace, and 3 kills to contribute to the team's success. Chloe Pallister brought a spark off the bench with tremendous blocking that helped push the team to victory in the fourth and fifth sets. 

The Lancers showcased resilience and teamwork, battling through momentum shifts and rising to the occasion when it mattered most. This win highlights the depth and determination of the squad as they continue their season.
