Lancers Add Alyssa Nunn to Women’s Volleyball Program

The Loyalist College Lancers are excited to welcome Alyssa Nunn to the women's volleyball program for the upcoming season.
A 5'7" setter from Newmarket, Ontario, Nunn joins the Lancers after competing at Pickering College Private School, where she developed her skills and leadership on the court. As a setter, she brings strong communication, consistency, and a team-first approach to the game.
In addition to her playing experience, Nunn has already made an impact in the sport through coaching. Among her proudest accomplishments is helping guide a 14U girls volleyball team to a gold medal at the Ontario Championships, demonstrating her passion for teaching and her understanding of the game from multiple perspectives.
Nunn will be enrolled in the Fitness and Health Promotion program, aligning with her interests in health, activity, and athlete development. Her decision to join Loyalist was influenced by the program's positive team culture, the strength of the coaching staff, and the opportunity to continue growing both athletically and academically.
Away from volleyball, Nunn enjoys teaching, coaching, video games, and pickleball, reflecting a well-rounded set of interests that complement her competitive drive.
The Lancers look forward to seeing Nunn contribute to the program as she continues her development and proudly represents the team in the upcoming season.
